Winter Mountain

This is the place in the territory where almost no one goes to. It's cold and winter never ends there. Blizzards and avalanches come a lot. Also there are a gang of loners that are living here, that are vicious and blood-thirsty.

Animals in the area: Rams, snow rabbits, loners, bison, coyotes

Ryder saw that Willow was shivering, he scooted next to Willow and wrapped his tail around her. Letting his coat connect with hers he licked her cheeks, and hope his fur is enough to keep her warm," Wouldn't want you to freeze now."

Willow smiled at Ryder and leaned on him, letting her head rest on his shoulder. She looked out into the distance and sighed,"Do you think we will get to go back?" she asked thinking about the den,beach, river, and the rest of the territory.

Ryder followed Willows gaze and sighed,” I’m not sure, but I hope we do” he said. Ryder began zoning out, thinking about the first time he met Willow and joined the pack. “Everything was peaceful” he thought to his perspective. He nuzzled Willow softly, giving her a kind smile,” I’m glad I met you” the brute quietly said.

Willow smiled and touched her nose to his. She leaned back on him and began to drift off into sleep.

Ryder smiled, and licked Willow's grey pelt," Sweet dreams" he whispered. "My beautiful Willow" finishing the sentence in his mind. He looked out over the horizon, watching the smoke rising from the volcano.

Rosaleena nodded to Snowflower. She saw another pup wandering around, and some pack members already talking to the pup. She went over to her. "You seem a bit cold... and in need of a family. Would you like to join us?"

Red yawned and looked around at all the pups and yearlings. She smiled, knowing they are the future of the pack. She wondered if one would need a mother, for it would give her some happiness. Just watching over a pup as a nanny she supposed would be fine. She sat down and looked around the pack.

Weather

The clouds above the mountain are quickly replaced with dark, ominous ones. The snow falling at a quick pace as it begins to increase, slowly becoming a powerful blizzard. The temperature dropping lower as the snow begins to land. Visibility quickly lowering to a mere 6 or 7 feet ahead of you. Acoustics distorted by the thick snow making it hard to call out to others at a distance. The blizzard continues raging, the snow falling faster and faster. The wind pushing against the mountain at roughly 45 MPH.

Red watches as the snow begins to dump down all around her, the wind tossed her fur around like nothing more then yarn. She stood up, wandering around. Then she realized the situation. One false move and anyone could walk straight off the mountain. She let out a loud and long howl as a warning about the hazard of the cliff, which she managed to find by tapping with her paw.

Willow woke up to the powerful winds. 'Oh No' she thought, She quickly got to her paws and had to yell through the wind," We have to get everyone in the den somehow!". She looked frantically at Rosaleena.

Lakki listened to both wolves. "I would love too!" she yipped happily and jumped around. Lakki stopped for a moment and listed to the wind,"whats going on?" she whined and hid under the cream colored wolf, shaking.

I felt the blizzard start and my thoughts instantly went to Elric. I was used to blizzards and my keen eye sight had helped me many times though now it was different but I knew that Elric would stand out from the snow. I'd help the others get back to the den since it was really the only thing I could do "If anyone needs assistance I'll escort you back to the den just howl!" I yelled over the wind.

Dawn shivered even more as the temperature dropped. She looked up at the clouds seeing that it was getting darker. A couple of seconds later the snow was falling so fast she could barley see. the yearling knew that Snowflower, the pup, and the older wolf was some where in front of her. "Snowflower!" She called out as she took a couple of steps back wards, and not being able to see past the snow she bumped into someone. All Dawn could see was the shadows of some of the others, then she heard the howl and she followed the sound as best as she could and then she bumped into a wolf.

I flinched as I felt someone bump against me (I'm assuming it was me I really have no idea haha) she wasn't headed in the right direction. I took a breath and nudged her until she was "Keep going straight and you should find yourself at the den!" I yelled in case she couldn't hear me I knew there would be wolves along the way so if she did happen to get mixed up they would help her.

Rae squinted her eyes at the suddenly quickly falling Snow. Shivering, she tucked her wings to her side. Being well coordinated came in handy as she quickly made her way to the den. Stepping inside, her ears where blessed by a moment of silence from the howling wind. She stood in the corner, trying to take up hardly any room. She would go back out if they needed it but...

Weather

The snow began to fall faster, visibility lowering even more. The thick blizzard made it impossible to see further than 10 feet in front of you. Scents were being distorted by the quick winds blowing them away or further away from the mountain. The loud sounds of the wind blowing making it nearly impossible to hear anything other than yourself thinking and those who were a few mere feet from you.

Red shivered furiously as she trudged through deep snow. She came across the group of wolves (Lakki and the wolves around her) "Y-you g-guys get into the den, I'll g-g-go and get the o-others." Red said, although she was actually freezing herself. She walked over to where the fish were and dug the snow off of them, picking them up in her mouth and letting them slide down into the den. "Go" She said, trudging past them and through the snow, using the very faint eyesight she had to locate the others. She figured she could survive, she had this long, and she was not going to give up now, not like this. She was not about to let the cold win, not let it take over. She was going to go and help the lost wolves out there, no matter what. She let out a piercing howl, in hopes of being able to get the other wolves attention.

I watched as the snow picked up even more and let out a huff. Now I could see barely anything though probably more then most of the wolves and I became increasingly aware that meant that if it got any worse I would no longer be able to help. A wolf came up and told us to go back to the den but I stayed where I was. I was going to help this pack even if it cost me my life.

Lakki yelped as she started to get enveloped in snow. Getting out from under the wolf she bounded around blindly not hearing the wolf that had came(Red), and the whole time she whined as nerves took over her. She let out a small helpless howl that couldn't be heard over the howling wind.

I saw a disturbance in the snow like someone had been running. 'Oh no' running was the worst possible thing you could do during a blizzard well that and run off a cliff I let out the loudest howl I possibly could hoping whoever had run off would hear it and return to me so could get them to safety.

Red could just barely hear a whine (Lakki's) she walked back over and sniffed the pup. "It's alright little one" She whispered right in the pup's ear. Gently, Red picked Lakki up in her mouth and brought her back to the den, sitting her down in the center. Now, Red who was now coated in snow could see, and hear things other than the howling wind. "You'll be safe now." She said. Smiling at the pup, Red felt better, satisfied she had helped.

Ryder stood up, his fur swishing with the wind with rapid speed," What the?" the brute thought. His eyes began to sting, his paws beginning to freeze. He went behind the pack hoping to block some of the wind allowing them to move more better, the strong wind kept pushing him forward, Ryder as stubborn as he is wouldn't dare budge. One of Ryder's eye caught a figure bounding around," huh?" he thought but was relieved when he saw Red near the pup.

Rosaleena jumped out of the snow, seeing that a terrible blizzard had found them. She ran to the mouth of the cave. She let out a loud howl, that she was almost certain that everyone would hear her, to come inside the den; everyone. She hoped that no one would die in this weather.

Rosaleena heard a howl, and she howled back. She needed every wolf in this cave, now.
