Survivors of the island

First topic message reminder :

You are a dog on the tiny island of Malta and an earthquake has happened. All people are dead, traumtized, or wanting to hurt you, such as the tan suited and yellow suited people. Tan people acctually try to catch you and send you back to the main land, where a dog has never come back. While yellow people ignore unless you get to close, which then they will beat at you with a metal stick(tan people also carry poles with hoops at the end, there like dog catchers) The city is abandoned and barely any buildings stand. There are dangers at every turn including the people, other dogs, and dangerous animals. Will you survive, Or will you die on this harsh island?

Brook looks up with sad eyes. She refused to speak to this overly friendly dog, let alone any dog. Brook hides behind Dakoda.

Ellie looked away and backed off as she saw she had frightened the pup or something, she sighed and backed up some more before sitting down and wrapping her bushy tail around her paws

"Oh, hello Ellie," Koda barked and then paused as he stopped abruptly, he gave a small smile as Brook hid behind him. "Oh, and im DaKoda and she's Brook," He said before pointing his muzzle to the black lab, "And his name I have yet to learn." He barked before turning back to Ellie

Fell was already on his way, but turned around as the others addressed him. While he didn't show it, he was mildly surprised that these dogs were being friendly. Is this some kind of trick? The black lab wondered, but something made him offer his name anyway. "Fell." He woofed.

Brook watchs silently. Some how, she felt she could trust Dakoda. It was strange, for she didn't give trust too easily. She lowers her head and peeks out from behind Koda at Ellie.

Koda turns his head and smiles at Fell as he says his name. "Nice to meat you Fell." He said smoothly and turned his head back to Ellie, she seemed friendly and not at all agressive and she seemed to be a full pet, not at all a stray like he had been, and even he ate dinner every day with the people. He sighed and shook his head, glancing back at Fell who didnt seem at all like a pet.
"If you have no where to stay Ellie, there is that house just ahead that I have found and I am willing to share as it is quite large." He said and then coughed, "That is, if you want to."

Ellie smiled, Ok thank you, and I wont be a bother either, you won't even know im there She said as she stood up. She looked at Brook, Fell and then back at DaKoda and nodded. Thankyou she said again before taking a step back and allowing the dogs to pass and go into the building firste.

Fell waited for DaKoda to go into the building. He was still contemplating as to whether he should stay with these dogs or just go off on his own again. He suppressed a shiver at the thought of being alone is this dangerous wasteland, and quickly made up his mind.

Ok, He said with a nod before trotting forward and sliding threw the window and onto the rocking chair where he quickly lept off. He trotted to the stair case hat led up to the first floor and looked back to see if anyone was following him, then he remembered that Brook was just a pup and he trotted back, not sure if she could hop all the way down from the window and onto the wobbly rocking chair. He stood to the side so that he could catch her if she slipped or just needed help. He also stood there because he wanted to know if any one would be staying in the house with him.

Fell reluctantly took a step towards DaKoda to follow him. What else was there to do here anyway. Still, he was afraid of being in a pack again, of making, then losing friends and loved ones.

Dakota perked his ears and took several steps back as he saw Fell reluctantly take a step forward. He sighed and turned before trotting into the other room, being careful where he was stepping so he wouldn't get glass in his paw. He decided to explore a little bit as he glanced around and slowly went up a larger set of stairs that led to the second floor

Rose padded slowly throught the streets and allyways. Seeing some dogs up ahead she followed them into a big building. The snarler kepted back as she listened and watched the others.

DaKoda stopped what he was doing as he scented another dog. He lifted his head and his eyes scanned the building until he spotted a reddish white dog, his eye locked onto the dogs. "Hi there, I am DaKoda... but you can call me Koda." he said in greeting to the dog who appeared to be no threat. "May I ask your name?"

Brook scampers to the window. Putting her paws on the window frame, she looks in. She jumps onto the rocking chair and struggles for a grip. Having dug her tiny claws into the fabric, one end of the chair is leaning downwards with weight, though it's not much. The chair creaks and falls over with a crash! She pokes her head out and shakes her head, then crawls out.

DaKoda freezes as he hears the crash. After just a seconds pause he bounds down the stairs and into the basement. "Are you OK?!" He barks alarmed and trots over to Brook.

DaKoda saw that she was Ok and he nodded back before turning and trotting up the small set of stairs than up to the second floor. He then looked to the unknown dog[Rose] and waited for her esponce patiently.

Brook follows Koda up the steps, dodging shards of glass. Images of her dead mother comes creeping into her mind and she whimpers. Now on the second floor, she goes into the living room (or whats left of it) and hops up onto the couch.

DaKoda perks his ears and turns his head sharply as he hears Brook whine. He frowns and looks back to the unknown dog and says nothing.

Finding it hard to sleep, Brook hops of the couch and goes to the kitchen. Her nose twitches in search of food as her stomach growls.

Fell had been nodding off. He shook his head, then looked at the unknown dog with curiosity. But he didn't want to say his name until the stranger said her's.

Rascal lifted his head tiredly, his eyes narrowed and dreary with sleep. He struggled to his paws before looking around, a stinging in his paw where a piece of glass had embeded itself into his paws. He whined slightly and shook his head before he took a couple of steps forward, favoring his unengered paw. He groaned and turned, part way limping and part way trotting out into the road where he looked both ways and he snorted, suddeny remembering his muzzle that clamped tightly around his snout. He snarled and started to shake his head wildly, trying to shake it off, before he started pawing at it rouphly with his good paw. He stumbled to the ground, still trying to tear the muzzle off. He growled in defeat and slowly stood up, sweeping his head side to side as he scented other dogs nearby. He slowly followed there scent, his eyes sharp and a slight limp to his gait as he made his way to the building where the dogs were at.

Fell was on his way to the building when he paused, looking at a puppy. "You okay?" He grunted. "Need help getting that thing off your snout?"

Rascal paused as he heard a dog speak to him. He looked over, his eyes peering over the muzzle and he spotted the black dog. "Ya Im fine... thanks," he lied but then paused and his eyes narrowed as he glared at the muzzle before he sheepishly nodded. He lifted his paw and scratched at the muzzle to show the dog that he couldnt get it off then quickly looked back up to see what he would say/do.
