Time of the wolves

You are a wolf, living in the dinosaur times. There are jungles, mountains, volcanoes, and dangerous dinosaurs all around you. You dont know where you are or how you got there, just that your there and your standing face to toe of a T-rex. You have three choices, to run, hide, or attack. And which do you think will keep you alive longer? You decide. In front of you there is a jungle, behind you is a cave, to the right is a Mountain, and to the left is a smokeing volcano thats ready to explode. You need to decide and you need to decide fast, most creatures that live here are dangerous, they will eat you alive or attack just for the fun of it. There are also some non dangerous animals, the Bronticoarus and... thats the only one I can think of. There are marshes that cover the area, things that lurk beneath the murky water, things that fly high with razor talons, things that rumble under you, things that sneak behind you, and the ones that stare you in the eye. To survive you must be strong, quick, and smarter than the enemy. You must join together and become stronger, quicker, and smarter as one. The pack is aggressive and mean to every one, they wont except weakness as an answer, there harsh to one another and fights are held constantly by the ones who wish to be leader. Having to be harsh on the outside has turned some harsh on the inside. If you challange a leader to a duell and you lose, you have two choices, to become a very disrespected and untrusted omega, or go out on your own and try to start your own gang. Lesothosaurus~ small brownish red dino's that reach a full grown mans knee, walks on two legs

T-rex~ large brown, black, reddish dino with sharp teeth, walks on two legs

Velociraptor~ medium sized tan dinosuar that walks on two legs and has small front arms with sharp hooked claws.

Sinosauropteryx~ A medium sized bird mix raptor type dino. It has wings and walks on two feet. It has a pointed muzzle that resembles a beak and has red fluff on its head like a male rooster.

Tricaratop~ A heavy built dino with horns sticking out on its head. Walks on four legs and skin is like armor, it is large

Phosphatherium~ fat hippo like dino. It is brown with flat ears that are close to the head, it walks on all fours and swims in the water like dino's. It has good meat and lots of it

Compsognathus~ small dino, about the size of a turkey, has a long neck and walks on two legs. Has tiny teeth and large eyes

Parasaurolophus~ edium sized green, yellow, and brown dino. Walks on two legs and has a bill on back of head(like Ducky if you watched the land before time when you were little. Harder to hunt but has great meat

Lakota stood up, not quite what sure to do next. She glanced around and coughed lightly, realizing that she was thirsty. She quickly turned and dissapeared into the bushes. She stealthily stalked forward as she scented a larger dinosaur nearby untill she slowed in front of a small brook. She glanced around before lowering her head to the water and lapping it up. She forze suddenly, as she hear the dinosaur roar and she turned, quickly trotting back to where the others were as her eyes flicked around nervously. She entered the tiny clearing, her muzzle dripping and she silently went to Alec and sat herself down.

Alecs tail flicked as he noticed Lakota dissapeared but he gave a shrug even though he was curious. "What now?" He asked cassually, his eyes flicking onto each wolfs face before his gaze settled on the standerd of them all. Suddenly he stiffened, hearing a nearby roar and he looked over as Lakota sat beside him silently, he stared at her for a moment and he saw her give a shrug, he lookled back to the others quickly

Kator watched from the bushes with a yawn. "A pack huh?" he thought. He watched as the dinosaur chased a wolf. He yawned once more before reverting it and got it's attention. Kator ran as the dino caught up, luckily, at a far distance. He jumped into a bush at a turn. He sat in the bush, motionless.

Alec stood up, his muscles tense and he glared into the tree's, not quite sure what was there and he repeated Morgra, "Who's there!?"

Lakota quickly stood up as she scented the wolf in the bushes and she paused, hearing a dino run off.

Stormy nodded at all the new wolves, "Nice to meet you all!" She yipped. The yearling watched Lakota walk off then to see her come back a couple of moments later. She lowered her ears as she heard a dinosaur roar. She then heard a dino run off and smelled another wolf close by.

Kator came out of the bushes. "Kator."he said. "I just saved two wolves life."he growled. "So why don't you leave me be."he said.

"Excuse them," Lakota said with a small glare tossed at her brother, "They are just a bit... to cautious, oh and im Lakota by the way, nice to meat you Kator." She murmured and looked at her brother Alec, waiting for him to introduce himself

Alec grumbled and ignored her glare, "Well im Alec, and, congradualtions on saving two wolf lives." He said quickly and flicked his tail as he stopped talking, allowing the others to introduce themselves.

Stormy looked at the wolf named Kator and yipped, "I'm Stormy!" She smiled and looked at the rest of the wolves, wondering what they were going to say.

Kator gave a quaint nod. "Nice to meet you all."he said showing his heart of gold. But quickly shrouded it in the mist again. His heart would always be shrouded by the mist of grief. Until he chose to show it.

Lakota looked around and nodded to the male. She stood up and went to her brothers side. "So... er, now what? are we a pack with them?" she whispered in his ear

"Uh.. im not sure but I thinks thats a good idea... how about you propose it?" He said and shifted his paws when Lakota shook her head sharply no. He gave a sigh. "Um I dont know about you all, but I think it would be best if we stayed together... for a short time at least." He said, glancing at each of them. He knew that Stormy should definatly stay with one of them, but it was her decision. He sighed. He was comfortable traveling with just him and his sister but sometimes it got lonely, or sometimes dangerous, plus he acctually really wanted to settle in a den or cave somewhere, and he wouldnt be able to do that with just his sister.

"You mean make a pack."he said. "Follow me."he huffed. Kator led them to the giant gave. The gemstone glittered on the roof and walls. "Pretty, ain't it?"he chuckled.

Stormy looked at Kator then perked her ears at what Alec said. "I agree!" She yipped happily. Her black fur made her looking like a tiny moving shadow as she followed the other wolf, Kator. She gasped at the glittering cave.

(oh wow oops... where in the world did i get brook!?)Lakota quickly followed, excited to be starting a pack her brother was fine company but it was pretty boring to talk to the same wolf for two years when you had nothing else to do. She looked up as she neared the cave. "Wow." she murmured, feeling Alec come and stand at her side.

"...ya." he said and followed him to the cave. He looked over and went to stand by Lakota before looking up, "Beautifull." he breathed in shock then turned his head, looking around the cave. He trotted to the far corner and lowered his head, seeing a small hole. He sniffed it before going inside the cubby. He managed to lie down in it like a bed. He chuckled and crawled back out to look around.

Avalanche saw the new wolf an he nodded. "Nice to meat you, Im Avalanche," he said and smiled. "Ya, id like to stick around." he murmured as he quickly followed after the wolves. He looked up at the cave as he entered it, "wow!" he thought and he trotted around, sniffing the corners. He went to the very far back and he looked up, seeing a small waterfall cascading from the roof and into a shallow cool pool. He sniffed at it before lapping up a few mouthfulls and he backed up once done, muzzle dripping. He looked around, specks of mist coming from the water fall and dotting his pelt. He sneezed and glanced around to see what the others were doing.

Alaska hurried ahead but she suddenly slowed down, the scent stronger now. She scented her brother and some other wolves in a rock mound. She slowly padded forward behind the cave and looked down as she heard something. It was a prehistoric bird that appeared to be stuck in some moss that was agains the caves boulders.. Alaskas instincts took over and she lowered herself to the ground before stalking forward stealthily. She narrowed her eyes and and leapt at it. She gave a small yelp as she tumbled threw the moss and into a small tunnel and she gave a snarl as she saw the wave of moss enabled it to get away but she sighed and looked around curiously(she just enterd a secrete entrance into the cave, it has a blanket of moss covering it so it doesnt show a hole into the cave unless you know about it). She padded forward silently, her ears flat as she heard voices ahead. She followed the curved tunnel until it ended quickly and out into a much larger cave. She looked up, mesmorzed by the caves roof before her gaze flickered down and she gave a tiny gasp as she saw her brother..

Alek turned his head in alrm and he growled, seeing the new wolf. He immediatly thought the wolf had claimed this cave already. He narrowed his eyes. "Who are you!?" He demanded, his voice stiff but he suddenly calmed down as he realized they hadnt claimed the den theres yet. He sighed, "Im Alec, who are you and what do you want." He said more calmly and gentler.

Lakota turned her head as she spotted a wolf in a darker part of the cave. It appeared to be a small tunnel of some sort she decided. She then turned her attension to the wolf. "Hi, im Lakota, may I ask who you are?" She said in a much friendlyer way though her muscles stayed tense.

"Looks like someone found the emergency exit "he said. "One more thing, don't touch that one gem."he said pointing to a glimmering emerald. It was loose, if it came out of it's place, it would shatter and might get it's shards into a wolf's eye or skin.

Alek nodded, "sure thing." he said though hs eyes never left the other wolfs.

Lakota shook her head and lightened up as the wolf didnt seem aggressive and she nodded to Kator. She trotted over and sat beside the pool and stared into her reflection.

Kator padded outside. He nipped at a plant and looked around.

Alaska stiffened as she saw the aggressive wolves but she calmed herself as she saw that they also calmed down. "Im Alaska, and I was looking for my brother!" she said, not being able to contain her excitement she scurried to Avalanche and licked his chin in greeting, her tail wagging.

Avalanche stared at Alaska confused for a moment and then he yipped excitedly, "Alaska! your alive!" He yipped excitedly as she licked his chin. His tail waged as he greeted his long lost sister. But then he remembered the others and he calmed his self down.

"OK. You see that hill of prey?"he said to them. "That was the herd that used to live here before I killed them. There might be Kore lurking around, so be careful that they don't try and kill you in your sleep."he said. He got one of the carcasses and placed it in front of the others."Here."he said and ate another ccarcass.

Lakota backed up from the pool as she saw Alaska come and greet Avalanche. she backed up and trotted to her own brothers side so that they could catch up.

Alec was startled by there excitement of finding eachother, "they must of had a good relationship," he thought though he knew he would act just the same if he lost Lakota and finally found her after years. He shook his head and looked over at Kator, he nodded. "Er... thanks." he murmered softly and took a bite, chewing it thoughtfully before he flicked his tail as he finished the chewing and he swallowed. He got a quick drink at the pool before he turned and trotted out of the cave to go explore. He could hear smaller animals in the bushes and he stayed warily as he trotted into the forest, checking out the area to see if it was proper to beable to live on.

Stormy spotted another new wolf and walked over there. "Hi!" She said kindly, "I'm Stormy." Her electric blue eyes looked around at the gemstone cave and she sighed. She sat down, bored, still thinking about if her sister is still alive.

"Hello Stormy, nice to meat you, Im Alaska." Alaska said with a smile and wag of her tail.

Avalanche looked over as he saw Stormy and he nodded to her in greeting as Alaska introduced herself. He looked over as he saw Kator speak. "Thats Kator." he murmured to Alaska before he shook his head to the brute, "No thanks, im full." He said and watched as Alec trotted off. Avalanche shook his head and followed him, wanting to explore also
