Arch, the courageous.

Name (and nickname): Archen 'Arch'

Age: 3 Years

Gender: Male

Rank: Warrior

Physical Description: Muscular frame. Quite large compared to average wolves. Multiple scars vaguely show through his fur, scattered on every part of his body. None of the scars directly noticeable if standing still, shown at times when laying down, wet from swimming/rain or when a breeze blows pushes my hair to the side. One noticeable scar that stands out from the rest, placed behind his right shoulder. A vivid scar etched into his skin in the shape of a circle with a small X in the middle symbolizing he was a slave. When someone points out the scar or asks about it, memories of his slave life comes rushing back without a second thought, Sorrow and hatred overwhelming his body.

Personality:

Partially outgoing - Arch loves to talk and converse with others, getting to know them and craft new friendships. However, he has been hurt by many people he had became close enough with to refer to as, "Friends". He hasn't given up on the idea of true friends, it just hasn't rang true for him so far.

Caring - Archen has always cared for others, regardless of their social status, family ties or their worth. He only saw them as one thing, a fellow wolf, someone who deserved help.

Protective - Arch has been very protective since he was a pup. His father's early death left him no choice but to stand up and fight for his injured mother. He wasn't able to do much at the time, but he knew he had to, he couldn't live with regret of not trying. Anyone that he deems a friend or an acquaintance are eligible for his protection.

Courage - Archen was very courageous. He lacked it as a pup, but gained it through his harsh life. It was either obtain it or die trying. Arch is the last wolf who would back down at the first sight of trouble or a plague. He would charge forward, muzzle held high, chest puffed out, braving the world and all of its challenges.

Initiative - Arch is never the wolf to sit in the back and do nothing. If he is needed, he will be in the front of the group working to resolve whatever is ailing the others. He was determined to be the best wolf he could be since the early passing of his father.

Open-minded - Archen is very open towards new experiences. He loves the thrill of finding something new, something different from the norm. He prides himself on his ability to step in between others and help settle the issue from a neutral stand point.

History: As a pup Arch was stubborn, always getting in trouble and causing mischief for his parents. His two sisters were very playful and outgoing, always playing with him. When Arch turned 7 months, his life changed drastically. His small family was attacked by another pack who wanted to use them as slaves. Their main objective was to kill his father, injure his mother and take pups in to be slaves. Regardless of our best efforts, their plan succeeded. Their harsh torture to conform us to be loyal slaves was too much for my sisters to endure. They died shortly after they became yearlings from the excessive torture that they had bestowed to them. Arch's mother was kept as a slave, however her right paw was completely unusable. Arch picked up the extra weight for her, allowing her to stay and live in the pack. He knew he would be unable to escape with her, so he decided to live my life out as a slave. Arch would make the best of a bad situation and live on, protecting his mother.

Nearly a year after his sisters death, his mothers condition was progressively becoming worse. He knew she wouldn't last much longer, but he couldn't do anything to give her a better passing. He cared for her until she passed. He continued working as a slave, unsure of what to do with his life. He knew he could escape, the manual labor they had him do had increased his strength considerably passed the guards. That with his father's already strong genes made him a terrifying sight to those he saw as opponents. He decided his slave life was over, he took off in the middle of the night avoiding hoping to avoid as much as he could. He was confronted by two wolves attempting to take him back. He ran further from the area before turning on them and injuring them. They quickly scurried back to their pack seeking help, by the time they made it back I was long gone.

I wandered the surrounding mountains and areas, following various paths and trails looking for a place to call home. Something I could be proud to protect, somewhere my parents and siblings would have loved to live. Finally three years old, no sight of a home in sight. Hopefully soon I will find a place where I belong.
