The Main Den

First topic message reminder :

This is the main pack den. It;s large enough where it can fit a large amount of wolves easily. There is a hidden creek not too far away from it.

Animals in the area: Parrots, macaws, monkeys, lizards, red-tailed hawks, condors, red foxes, rabbits, ravens, peacoks

Seaspray grinned as he watched the pups scamper away. He then settled down, curling up on the soft grass.

Kota padded into the den site, sitting down at the edge. She still hadn't welcomed the new member, Renegade, but it could wait. She still didnt feel very welcome here, and needed some time to think.

Seaspray yawned and stirred from his nap, the sun beating down uncomfortably upon him. He snapped at the mosquitos buzzing around him. Fed up with the insects and bored with just laying around, he stood and furiously shook his pelt to drive off the annoyances. Seaspray trotted up to Dakota. "Hi, Kota." He yipped. "I'm heading for NightSky Beach to cool off. Wanna come?"

Seaspray smiled mischievously and ran to the beach. "Race you there!" He howled, slowing down a bit so he didn't get an unfair head start.

-NightSky Beach-

Rosaleena arrived at the den site pulling the elk carcass with the pups.

Dawn dropped the leg she was carrying and sit on the ground, panting. She was grateful that they made it home for her hurt leg was starting to cause her problems on the trip.

Seaspray turned to head for Nightsky Beach, but saw Rosaleena and the pups dragging a carcass into the densite. He bounded over to them. "Great catch!" He yipped. He wrinkled his nose as he said it, however. Seaspray didn't want to eat elk ever again.

Rosaleena dropped the elk. She perked her ears to Seaspray and said, "Thanks. Where are you going?"

Dawn looked up at Seaspray and yipped, "Thank you Seaspray!" She got back up on her feet.

Seaspray grinned and nodded at Dawn. He then turned to Rosaleena. "Dakota and I were just about to head over to NightSky Beach to cool off." He explained.

"OK. Want some elk?"

Seaspray snorted. "No way! Sorry to be disrespectful, but I'd rather eat grass than eat elk. Nice kill, though. If I liked elk, I would eat it." He loped over to the food pile and picked out a fish.

Azul looked around, she flatten her ears. Everything and everyone was moving to fast. She just curl up by a rock and hid her face.

Rosaleena shrugged and mumbled, "Whatever..." She began eating the carcass again.

Fang trotted over to Seaspray. "Why don't you like elk?" He asked and twisted his head slightly.

Seaspray took a deep breath before replying to Fang. "It's a long story." He sighed. "I just prefer fish."

"You can tell us." Dawn said, looking at Seaspray. She sat down waiting for a response.

Rosaleena listened to everyone's conversation, but was continued eating. But she listened for a response.

Fang pawed Dawn in the side gently with a concerned look on his face. "I don't think we should ask him. He may not wanna talk about it. And we should respect that." He said and looked at Seaspray with a small smile.

Rosaleena finished eating, and she jumped on top of the boulder. A scent hit her nose. Her hackles raised as she growled at the smell. "The loners..." she mumbled. "From Winter Mountain..."

Fang looked over at Rosa. "What is it Rosaleena?" He asked and twisted his head to the side slightly.

"Oh, ok." Dawn said, then she looked over at Rose. She frowned and asked, "Loners? What loners?" She had no idea what loners Rose was talking about. Dawn had never met any loners before.

"L-l-l-loners!? ..." Fang asked with widened eyes. "N-no... They c-can't come! P-please d-don't! ..." He shuddered in shock. He knew what they were talking about in a split second now. And he would be in trouble of being killed if the loners recognized him.
